Please note that we do not open all day – Opening Times

We are now open!

See our Opening Times for bar and food service times.

For the time being we will only be serving food in the garden, if the weather is inclement we do have a limited number of tables available inside which, depending upon circumstances, may be booked ahead by calling us on 01730 825 746.

Please continue to check this website for more information and be sure to check our Social Distancing rules by clicking here.

We are currently offering a limited garden menu which will include salads, a couple of hot dishes, cheese or ham ploughmans and puddings.

The daily menu will be available on a blackboard in the garden.

We are also participating in the Government’s ‘Eat out to help out’ scheme, see our posts and notices section on the right hand side of this page for more information.

Elsted sits on top of a ridge at the western end of the Sussex Weald.  The village is a small but thriving rural community where The Three Horseshoes provides an important focal point for village life.

After the harvest – The South Downs from the garden

The Three Horseshoes has panoramic views, southward to the imposing South Downs and eastward across the weald looking down on beautiful wooded areas and farmland.  The nearby cricket pitch and tennis court along with the village hall have further stunning views northwards towards the Hampshire and Surrey borders.
