An old fashioned traditional country pub within the
South Downs National Park
Please note we do not open all day.
Elsted sits on top of a ridge at the western end of the Sussex Weald. The village is a small but thriving rural community where the pub provides an important focal point for village life.
The Three Horseshoes has panoramic views, southward to the imposing South Downs and eastward across the weald looking down on beautiful wooded areas and farmland. The nearby cricket pitch and tennis court along with the village hall have further stunning views northwards towards the Hampshire and Surrey borders.
